The Magdalena Van der Westhuizen Foundation headquarters are in Perth, Western Australia.
Its purpose as a non profit organization, set up in memory of a courageous humanitarian and mother, is to provide for the impoverished; sick, poor and underprivileged people of Papua (formerly known by the acronym of Irian Jaya) who are disadvantaged in modern society. Focus is on parents with children.
The Foundation accounts have to be audited so as to satisfy government conditions for taxation exemption.
As with authors who use a ‘nom de plume’ the Foundation has been advised that Ramsi Aletha art work for the Foundation should use a suggested ‘nom de plume’ of Randhy Boegis or other for any product marketed through the Foundation. The principle reason for this is that all profit and non profit business, must be divorced from each other so that they cannot be linked or classified as ‘tax avoidance’ under conditions of government requirements.
In other words, it must be 100% clear of any suspicion. It will not affect Ramsi’s business identity, only where he does work for the Foundation he will be required to use the ‘nom de plume’ to prevent a conflict of interest in the Foundations status with requirements of Government. All work done is fully guaranteed.
