Leather Goods

Leather Goods

Most leather in Indonesia comes from buffalo hide however there is a preference for the softer leathers for apparel use, such as deer, sheep and goat. Crocodile (are farmed in Australia, Papua and Papua New Guinea), lizard and snake are a banned import in most countries so we suggest you research Quarantine requirements on all leathers, applicable to your country or country of import.

Our website features a ‘Madge Gracie’ designed Marlene Dietrich beret and paneled deer hide golf cap. In baby crocodile skin both are stunningly, smart for the fashion-conscious; “Bond Street” stylist or sports enthusiast. There is no class distinction in trendy fashion if the product is good. Quality is comparable to top European leather goods manufacturers. As sample in deer or sheepskin, they sell for US$92.00 FOB Bali or Perth. In crocodile, prices increase to US$240 each. Crocodile in the latest design in golf bags US$ 1080.

  • Purses and key rings  start at US$2.50
  • Hand bags from US$390
  • Wallets from US$25
  • Belts from US$18
  • ‘Business class’ Lap top brief cases in crocodile skin are priced from US$950

All are in ‘a’ grade leather.

If you have a ‘Tam O’Shanter or another design we can make them up to your specification providing you send your design or sketch. All patterns are covered by our ‘customer confidentiality’ code of privacy clause. Should you wish to vie away from leather, caps and berets are available in batik or woven textile fabrics?

*Opportunity exists to extend the spectrum of crocodile farming and other species, such as Cassowary with farmed agreements. Cassowary leather (and meat) is on a par with Ostrich and Emu. This is of particular interest to us because of the environment impact of maintaining sustainability of wildlife. If you are interested in ‘farmed agreements’ we welcome your enquiry. All such agreements require government approval and we are willing to assist through the ‘grapevine’.
