Ramsi Aletha says “ The core of my heart is in a restoration of life’s perspectives of something special and beautiful, that time will not erase.

I sketch from private sittings as well as from photographs, newspaper cuttings and digital imaging. What I sketch from is usually small compared to my finished work so I must transform this scenario into a sketch the size of 45 x 35 cm; all I ask is that there is clear definition, not a blurred photograph.

The ‘Memories from Memorable Moments’ Subjects can be:

• A portrait or family group setting.
• Honeymooners in Venice
• A cherished family pet that had a special part in your life. An adorable cat, dog or parakeet I just need a good photograph and you will have a sketch to feature on any wall in your home.
• If you were a winning jockey, owner or trainer of a famous racehorse that won the Melbourne Cup once, twice or three times. The King George V1 Stakes, Kentucky Derby, Japan Cup, Birdwood or Leonora Cup; any special event that is indelible in your memory.
• Gallery sketches for a private collection and limited edition prints can be done, but only for the owner of the original sketch. You have my assurance that whatever flows on from an order, be it sketch, print or poster from the original sketch, and belongs to the owner, I will never reproduce the same item(s) for any other party.

Restoring dignity to people’s lives is of concern to me and my association with the Magdalena Van der Westhuizen Foundation gives me heart to think that the poor and impoverished people of Papua are benefiting from something God has given to me”.
